I am sure all the residents know by now, that Glenlake was sold to another company, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Now K***e is the manager. Talk about bad choices. About the only answer you ever get out of her is, "No, I am sorry, No" Never a lets see what we can do, or let me talk to my manager to see if there is an alternative, or Yes, I can help you. At least the outgoing manager acted like she gave a crap about the residents. Does anyone not care that the gates are broken. I know that somone hit the gates, rumor has it, that it was the wonderful tree trimming company that was out recently acting like they were trimming trees. But it is funny how the exit gate is always working...guess you gotta try and keep the residents in somehow, meanwhile anyone and their brother can just stroll right in. I am excited that my lease is expiring soon, that way I don't have to deal with my upstairs neighbors having sex in the middle of the day...oh yeah, you can hear it...at least someone is having some fun here, VIVA VIAGRA!! Also I don't have to hear stomp, stomp, stomp, slam, bang, boom, flush, squeak...all from the upstairs neighbors. I know it seems like I am on a tangent here, maybe I am, but before anyone rents here, I suggest you take a good hard look around...You can get more for your money if you go elsewhere. Please do not fall for the manager or leasing agent telling you that they are going to be remodeling the kitchens and baths, that is not going to happen anytime soon. They have been saying that for a long time, so I have been told. My rent is outrageous....and then to top it off, you have to add between $65 to $75 for water, sewer, trash, bug extermination and common lighting, that rarely works, every month...gimme a break. It is funny if you go to glenlake-apts.com and click on the amenities, it says Lavish, Beautiful clubhouse, really, where' I have never seen it...the office is a far cry from a clubhouse, and I am sure I am not the only one that notices that it is closed more than it is open. Also on the amenities, it says Community Events...has anyone ever been to one of these so-called events' I did not even know we had any. I wish everyone luck if you decide to call Glenlake home, or decide that you like it here...I give you props...the end of my lease cannot come soon enough.
