Moving After Three Years
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 4/12/2006
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
I have lived at Greyfield for almost three years and am finally moving. The first two years were okay with no major issues. However, this past year has been the worst possible year. Mary, the old manager, was demoted because she was "too nice" to the residents, then she resigned. The new management team is horrible. When things are changed, the residents are not notified (UPS and FEDEX mail not being signed by the office and management changes). When there are maintenance issues that affect the entire complex, the notices are sent at the last minute, if at all. Also, it is extremely difficult to get in contact with the office, especially on the weekends (I guess from showing so many vacant apartments or handling move outs). Also, the neighborhood apartments are bad but at least they have working gates. Lastly, the non-working car rule is not enforced. I see a number of cars around the complex that do not move an inch that have been sitting for MONTHS!!! A sticker may put on the car but the owners seem to work out some type of deal because within a few days, the stickers are scratched off and the cars are still there not moving. I would not recommend my worst enemy to move into Greyfield.
The only good thing was the rent and even that is going up.
