For a 2 BR, 2 bath apartment costing less that 800 bucks in this side of town, Hartford Place is pretty good. The rooms are very spacious and my overall experience here has been pretty decent. The maintenance people do try to get things done quickly and the people in the leasing office are fairly friendly and cooperative. Safety doesn't seem to be an issue at all. The terrible part is in regards to the worst-equipped gym in the world, which "has to be closed outside of office hours because of security issues." The gym is simply atrocious and even when you try to overlook that fact and still drop by, it would be closed.
I would recommend this place to anybody not seeking too much comfort, but a cheap and reliable place to call home.
