Yo!

Not too shabby...

As a Georgia Tech student, I'm always looking to stretch a dollar. Now, this place is the ultimate to stretch a dollar. If you get a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, the master bedroom is large enough to share between 2 people with ample room. Add the next bedroom and you have 3 people in a spacious apartment.

The kitchen facilities are lacking, with poor quality electric stoves. Refrig is provided, which is good, and the dishwasher does an ample job of cleaning. Wallpaper in the kitchen is okay, but ours just misterously cuts off....Storage is ample for 3 people.

Living room is rather large and can support 3 nice sized (well arranged) couches and an entertainment center.

Laundry hookups are in the apt.

Master bedroom is HUGE and has 2 "walk in" closets. By walk in, they mean, walk in, turn around and walk out, there's still good space though (esp if you're a guy!).

Master bathroom is good, a little water leakage from the toilet (the bolts that hold the tank to the main body have rusted through, just proof of how old it is), but it's nothing I can't fix. Wallpaper in the bathroom is rather crappy.

Other bedroom is nice sized for one person and has a larger, truly walk in, closet. Attached batroom is smaller than master, but still doable.

AC is a little rough, and I've only lived here a month. It's set on 55 but the temp reads as like, 78 degrees, which jeez, that's hot for inside! Oh well, I sleep with my fan on.

Front door locks well and feels secure and safe.

Front poarch is nice and mostly protected from rain.

Parking is nice, I can usually get in the little alcove that forms my building.

Community is okay, a little shady, but all good people. Walls are a little thin, pray that your neighbors don't have a dang dog (espically a little yappy one, you'll hear it...). I have caused some noise polution myself though, so I can't complain.

Office people are extremly nice and seem to care about problems and your general well being.

Now... the worst thing I've come about yet... Moving in... We were sitting there in the office signing the papers and such and the agent was telling us all of this great stuff about our specific apartment. Things like "we just put in brand new carpet just for you" and "oh you should see the brand new wallpaper that we put in." All of that is BULL! We got in the apartment for the "tour" they take you on to make sure things are okay before you move in, and we saw stains and furnature marks in the carpet. The wallpaper was visibally old and nasty, and was even torn in places. Our back door doesn't work at all, but that's all the better for our specific apartment.

Overall I'd say its a nice place to live for the price. Close enough to everything you need, GT campus, the CRC, and Kroger among other things... Just watch out for the lying office staff if you are signing papers...

Hope this is of some help... qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
