I am currently halfway through a year long lease at Hartford Place. The first thing that needs to be said is STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Police are called in here at least twice a month. The apartment itself is decent for the price (they have a 5% student discount) but some things are falling apart or breaking as time goes on. I've eseentially given up on trying to get maintenance to fix it because they never respond to me unless I go to the office in person. The two pools are small and unclean. The "weight room" has almost nothing in it, and the things that ARE in there are more of a safety hazard than equipment. Neighbors are noisy and rude and do not respond to requests to keep it down.

The worst part is if you actually have to deal with the staff. The only decent person here was the former manager (there have been three different ones in 6 months). If you have any kind of problem that they will have to fix, you should probably learn to live with it for a long time. If you talk to anyone there, you will be talked down to and treated rudely 9 out of 10 times (the 10th time is when you go with a rent check). Their idea of customer service is to do whatever will get you out of their office in the shortest amount of time.

If I didn't have ------ neighbors or anything else where the leasing office would have to be involved this place would be decent, but only because of the price. If you are a REALLY patient person and/or have no expectations of anything, then you might be able to stand this place.

Moral of the story is: DON'T MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE DIRT-POOR AND CAN'T AFFORD ANYTHING ELSE!!!

Well having said all of that I see you are still living there which says nothing for you, that sucks. Get a job and do something with yourlife other than hate. Hatoration seems to your style.
