Highland Ridge is a very convenient place to live. It's close to Tech, groceries, and I-75. The management team has changed about 3 time since I moved there but the last "shift" seems to really take charge. Finally all the laundry machines in the common laundry room work, the halls are swept, and garbage is collected. If you file a maintenance request, usually you get it fixed right a away, i.e. my fridge once died on a Sunday, and I got a brand new fridge right that evening! On the other hand, I need some blinds repaired, and that still hasn't happened although I told them about 3 months ago.

The people complaining about roaches are stupid. Of course, you have to deal with some bugs if you move in a place that has be empty for some time. But if you're clean and take counter measures (traps, poison) you'll get rid of any crawling subletters very fast. Everytime someone new on my floor moves it, you get one or two dead roaches laying around the next morning.

I recommend this place for anybody with a modest budget. If you're reasonable and don't expect the King's Suite for the price of a spot under a bridge, you'll like it there.
