I have currently been living at Highland Ridge for just under a year and will be moving out very soon. I have had the worse experiences living here than anywhere else in my life. I rent a 2b/2b and have had some mild problems such as bugs and water pressure. Also, we have had problems with mold coming up through the carpet(not safe!). All of this I could deal with.
What I cannot deal with are the safety issues on this property. Aside from the parking lot loitering and the malfunctioning streetlights, there is a non-existent curtesy officer and a hired security officer that I have not yet seen once! Also, I have heard on more than one occasion the abuse of a woman and had to call the police. This violence really hit home when I was broken into while sleeping and the person watched me while I pretended to sleep. There was no forced entry, so they had a key. The management office did not say anything about this, they only changed the locks. There is much suspiscious activity taking place on this property. If you do decide to move here, I highly suggest owning your own "protection" because management has not done anything to increase security. Good luck to anyone who decide to rent this place.
