I've lived here in a 2bed/2bath for a year and a half, and I love it. Unfortunately I can't afford a 1 bed by myself, so I have to move, otherwise I'd stay in a heartbeat!

The location is wonderful.. Seconds from Virginia/Highland, Midtown, and Buckhead. The apartment itself is great. Nice high ceilings, crown molding, lots of room. And the balconies are enormous. No outdoor storage, but it hasn't been a problem. Parking is never a problem.

I haven't had a problem with noise until just recently, and it's really not bad. The new people upstairs are a bit heavy-footed, but it's nothing that disturbs my sleep.

The office staff is so nice and so accomodating, but they're not in the office that much. I think they need someone in there at all times, b/c it's frustrating to get the answering service so much. But the maintenance staff is friendly and accomodating, and we have never had any major maintenance issues.

The community is gated, but the gate is always broken. It's kind of funny, but it wouldn't be if my car was one of the ones that was broken into several months ago. The good thing is that it's located in such a residential neighborhood, crime isn't a huge problem. I've never felt unsafe there at all.

All in all, I highly recommend Highland Square. I wish I could stay!
