I've lived here for almost 3 years now and I like it if only for the location. I am a student, but I usually keep to myself if I'm not in the library so this place is more of a glorified bed with a shower. I also live alone so it's easier for me tell how loud I am.
Noise. I can occasionally hear my upstairs neighbors, my side neighbor's washing machine, plummbing (showers and toilets), and yes students either coming back from going out or actually going out at odd hours of the night. The only times it gets annoying is when they're drunk and yelling or some d-bag is playing loud thum-thump music. Overall, it's something that I can live with and I did ask for it by getting a ground-level apartment.
Parking. Parking isn't too good for some of the buildings. Finding a decent space can be hit or miss after 6:30 PM. Each apartment is supposedly assigned 2.5 spaces, but sometimes that isn't enough. It's funny how you can find it on most weekends though.
Maintenence. I always see someone from maintenence doing something, either landscaping or some kind of repair. All of my repairs have been completed in the same day.
Management. Some have brought up management. I have seen it change and it did get a little worse, but I rarely complain about anything so it hasn't been too much of a problem.
Safety. The gate is sometimes broken, but the complex itself is kind of hidden so it doesn't seem like too big of a deal. I'll put it this way. I've left my door unlocked a few nights and haven't worried at all about anything.
The workout room isn't anything awesome, but it'll get the job done. In all, I'm here because of the location, its proximity to everything (except an interstate) and it's nice enough to stay a while. I would have preferred a loft, but that's getting technical. My only complaint is that they don't have any tennis courts.
