Beware of this place

I have lived here for a long time and have watched the demise of Highland Square. The management is more concerned with solliciting new residents than with serving the needs of its current ones.
Parking is a big problem and unfortunately, without attempting ANY solution, the management has a completely defeatist attitude and refuses to do anything to remedy the problem. Instead management decided to spend money in a less important and superficial manner - by hiring trash pickup when dropping trash off was not a big problem in the first place. No doubt a move intended to improve marketing to potential residents rather than to improve the quality of life for current (and long-standing faithful) ones.
Additionally, the residents have gone from respectful young professionals to rude and loud immature people. Drunk drivers crashing into walls, gates, etc. and destroying them. Again, management refuses to do anything about this problem.
Last, the lack of concern for residents is apparent from the strict late policy - 10% of your rent for being even an hour late - and there is no concession for the fact that a resident has not been late on rent for 2 years! It's ridiculous how they will exploit their best residents.
I do not suggest living here at the moment. If changes are made that reverts the place back to the way it was in, say, 2005, then it would be a glorious place to live again. But right now it is not very enjoyable.
