I can't say enough good things about Highland Square. The rent is very reasonable for what you get, which includes a spacious apartment with a deck (many with fireplaces), a fitness center, pool, and a very friendly and courteous staff. Maintenance workers are there to help you if you need them, and throwing out trash & recycling is very easy. The area is nice (right by Emory and the CDC) and if you're facing the woods like I was, it's very pleasant. I also enjoyed walking to Emory Village or Virginia Highlands. I was there in the summer and didn't experience hearing any wild pool parties like some have indicated, but maybe that's because I wasn't by the pool. The residents all seemed quiet, polite, and friendly. Quite a lot had pets. Would highly recommend.
