From the second I moved in I had problems (I have lived here for 3 years). Dirty carpet that they promised was clean. Mold in the sinks. Bees nest on the porch and scratched walls. I am a college student, so I did not feel the need to complain.
All the management does is try to screw you out of money - and they could not be any more obnoxious. Not one of them has a college degree, and they all deserve to work in the $7 per month trash crate. Apartments are robbed seemingly everyday and all the management does is say: "You should have bought apartment insurance". WELL YEA ---- OFF!
The only person who deserves any acknowledgment here is Ross the head of maintenance. That guy works his butt off and makes me feel at home when he helps me fix thing. He needs to run the whole place, and fire that idiot MAURICE while he's at it.
Also rent is way to expensive for the piece of ---- this is.
GO ROSS. Give that guy a raise.

I'm not sure where you live, but that has not been my experience at Hightland Squre. I will agree with you that there has been an issue or two at the property, but every problem I have had has been resolved within 48 hours of me calling Maurice. This is the end of my second year living here, and if I wasn't about to move for work I would live here again. For the price in Atlanta, I think this is a great place to live. My apartment has an alarm, but I have never had it go off, and no one has ever tried to break-in. I'm sure at some point there has been a break-in, but that's Atlanta, not Highland Square.

To the reviewer - glad you're making the most of your college education. It would be easier to take your opinion seriously if it didn't sound as though it were written by a spoiled 9 year old. I've lived at Highland Square for nearly six years and haven't had any of the problems you mentioned. Highland Square is probably the best apartment complex I've ever lived in, and I'll agree with you about Ross. That guy is worth his weight in gold.
