want to hear people breaking into the apt above you'

When My girlfriend and I first saw the ad for this place we were ecstatic over the idea of moving into a --- community. That enthusiasm ended the moment the lease was signed. Our apartment was FULL of roaches! I am not talking about a handful scattered through out the whole apartment, either. We had to get the strongest roach killer on the market and literally spray day after day through out the place. At first I probably swept up a hundred a day, and it took months of us, the residents, not the management, to get rid of them. The worst part of all of this, is that the management knew of the problem prior to us moving in, and did not resolve it. And though these are minor, they did not even have the air conditioner or the hot water turned on and ready when we moved in.
When my car was broken into, I didn't even get an "i'm sorry that happened" from the managment. My girlfriend and I have listened to the apartment above us (better known as the "Crack House") get broken into several times. Even though those people have FINALLY been evicted, the management has just left the apartment unlocked for whatever stranger that wants to enter it. When I called the cops out here once, I didn't have to give them any details. The dispatcher's response was "we know Sutton place very well, ma'am." And since the place is now more latino than ---, my guess is that they don't know the place because they cruise it for a little bit of that "love we don't speak of." On top of all of that, if you want cable TV, your only choice is satelitte and the management actually makes you pay $200 to them for having it. So if all of that sounds pleasing to you, please stop by the information office in May because a one bedroom will become available then.
