This place has problems. All of the other posts are correct about the management. There are a few people in the office that are great. However, the one or two people in charge are miserable to deal with. The area is dangerous and not changing anytime soon due to government housing less that a 1/4 mile away. Drug deals and break ins are commonplace in the parking garage.
They are actually built rather well, and I rarely heard my neighbors. I did have major problems with street noise, but it is not the complex's fault. North ave and Ponce are very noisy streets. It bothers some people and not others.
Some of the apartments are nice inside with good amenities, but for the most part, not worth the rent. Nice alarm systems and granite counter tops. However, there are too many nicer places in the city to live. Plain and simple.
If you do live here, be sure to live away from the pool. Guys get drunk almost weekly and go skinny dipping drunk. Loud and unnecessary. Management doesn't care too much to do anything about it either.
