here is the story...I had a few boxes of shoes delivered to me from a department store in Alabama. After waiting for about a week for the little notice in my mailbox, I finally started visiting the leasing office daily to try and retrieve my belongings. Everyday I left the leasing office with no shoes. After a few days of that, I contacted fed-ex to track my package. They informed me that a certain office emloyee, we'll call him "Ray", had signed for an entire truckload of packages, one of which was mine, like a week before. So I contacted the office with this information. Well, after being given the run around for quite some time about not having the package, I finally received a phone call from "ray" telling me that the package had mysteriously turned up in the office...now, I hate to think the worst, but you have to admit that sounds like foul play. There were four boxes of brand new shoes in that package, and this wasn't the first time I had mail issues with the office. Needless to say my lease is up next week and I am moving.

re: the pkg. -- I've had several problems but you specific prob. reminds me of a year or so ago when I found out the Fed Ex and UPS guys use one person's name (who's been employee for years) name and just sign his name so you don't know who actually took in the pkgs. -- used to be you signed for your pkg. & showed ID -- I just got pkg. and when I picked up they didn't ask me to sign, when I tried to show my ID they said they didn't need it! Guess I should have looked over who had some really nice, big pks. and said they were mine! I was told a yr. ago they were spending $1 million on improvements, --noticed new vans, grass, curbs painted 3x in 3 mos. etc. and place going downhill faster than they can spend the $$$$ to trick up the curb appeal.
