I lived at this complex for 2 years and really dont have much good to say. Only very big issue I ever had was getting out of shower, coming out of bathroom and being greeted by the maintence guys on an unscheduled, no-notice inspection. Had this been my wife instead of me I would have been pissed.
Supposidly a pet policy, however it was not uncomon to see several Pit Bulls everyday. Water was off at least 5 times in my 2 years, however Jasmine blamed the city; who knows..
Office cashes my rent check and did not record it one month. I recieved the rudest, most threating leatter on my door I hava ever read, to the effect of if I did not pay rent plus fines in like one day the would evict me. I was disapointed with the office staffs attitude about this ordeal. I felt like I had to go way out of my way to prove to them that not only had I payed my rent, but they had cashed my check. Very stressfull situation that they could have avoided.
Another thing was how every year they raised rent, and all they ever really seemed to do was change the signs like 14 times, no to improve the buildings or grounds.
The break-in's and rape not being repoted to everyone really bothers me. They claim they have no responisbilty to do so. Maby legally, but that was all I needed to know to leave forever.

Interesting how the management posts response to discredit people writing negative comments. I lived here for a few years and never was late on rent or created problems. With that said, this place went downhill fast over last few years. Nasty people moved in. Rat traps suddenly appearing everwhere. Crime. Everything you read here is true. All profit spent gutting & remodeling office 3 times in less than 3 years, new sod, lots of wasted water running down curbs., etc., etc. Shame on them for not notifying tenants of a rape. Now they have notice of previous knowledge if another one occurs.

Thank you for notifying us of the unauthorized pets that we have at our community. We ask that you please notify the Resident Services Center as soon as you witness a violation such as this. We have the responsibility of managing a rather large community and don't always have the pleasure of noticing every issue.
We do recommend that you contact the local authorities to attain a copy of the area crime statistics for any future move or for your own peace of mind. And remember "Crime has no zip code".
As far as disputing any facts we simply do not have the information that is sometimes requested and therefore cannot release false statements.
The Sandy Springs Police contact information is as follows:
5995 Barfield Road, Sandy Springs, Ga. 30328, 770-551-6927 and I'm sure that you will be able to contact Lt. Steve Rose.
Sincerely,
Management

"Crime has no zip code" seems to be Jasmine's best answer. Unfortunately for them, it's pathetic. There is crime in every zip code, yes, but there is a HEAVY CONCENTRATION of crime on this property. That's not typical. Thanks, Lyon, for providing such a safe property and not even a modicum of security to your many residents.
