I have lived in the units right across from the maintenance shed for the past year and a half. I must say that it seems that the neighborhood is steadily going downhill. With each move of my neighbors, I have seen the atmoshpere around my apartment degrade. From the Latin bachelors that constantly blare their music late into the night (even on weekdays), to the thugs down the way who have been in brawls in the early mornings. I have filed complaints with the apartment complex and police with no avail. Tennis court and pool up keep is not very good. Previous owner of my unit had pets. Stains in carpet and fleas have been a problem, but we have given up trying to get Mgmt to do anything about it.
The most important issue is that not only the Arbors is degrading, but the surrounding neighborhoods around the Arbors is getting worse. Gates do not keep out people who want to get in, they stay open allowing multiple cars in. People walk right through the side gates, no locks. Occasional patrols by security. In the time I have lived here I have seen two smashed windows, received handouts about three robberies in a month period, and my door of my SUV was kicked in. When signing up for renatl insurance, agent told me of several incidents in immediate area outside Arbors.
I must say the staff is kind and try to be helpful. The maintenance staff is quick, and quality of work is average. Location is great. My lease ends at the end of this month, and I will not be renewing because of the continuing degrading conditions. I guess you get what you pay for, less some. It's unfortunate because with a little more investment this properties location is excellent.
