The apartments themselves are OK... a good price for the size and amount of storage. I am on the top floor but I can hear my neighbors' music and talking and even (yup!) bathroom and bedroom noises...

My appliances go on the fritz a lot. My dishwasher leaks on the floor and I have called about 20 times to get it fixed and they always come back to me with "use different soap" like I'm some kind of idiot who doesn't know how to properly use the dishwasher. Whatever... water cleans up, but I would hate to live below me. The clothes washer that came with my unit likes to eat holes in my clothes, but it was free and there is that saying about "getting what you pay for" so I shouldn't complain.

That being said, I feel that am a model resident. I pay my bills on time, am very quiet, non-smoking and no pets. I am always friendly and polite when I come into the office....

The management office here does NOT WANT RESIDENTS LIKE THIS!!!!!

Lately, we have been asked to start paying Jasmine directly for our water service, instead of sending it in to CBSI. Fine, not a big deal who I pay water to, but then today, I got a notice from CBSI stating that my account was delinquent. Apparently I have been paying Jasmine, and they have not been passing on the payments to the appropriate parties.

Another notice I just received is that they will no longer make an "after hours" drop off available for rent payments. Well, this is just SUPER convenient for those us who WORK!!! Their office hours run from 10 to 6 so there is really no time, unless I take off work early or hope that the 1st three days of the month fall on a weekend, for me to get my rent to someone at the office directly. Isn't this a nice way for them to make extra cash for late payments' In the 20 months I have lived here, I have never been late with a rent check.

Safety... well, not the greatest, but I have good people in my building and we look out for each other. My car was broken into this past summer and the front gates have not worked since 2005.

Amenities... we have none. The fitness room is "under construction" and they took away the valet trash service. (Check out the monster rat nests at the dumpster, by the way. SOOO glad I don't live close to that!!)

My overall advice, don't rent here unless you are desperate. I could stay for the price, but the last straws were the rent payment and water payment issues. It's not worth Lyons management ruining my credit over.
