I currently reside at the Jasmines. Let me tell you, when I first moved in it was fabulous! I actually still like my apartment, it's so nice. BUT, i guess they are having a hard time filling up the vacant apts because they are letting anyone in now. Also, they advertise a fitness center, (none of the outlets work, so the machines don't work), a business center, (all the computers have viruses and you can NEVER get online), and a gated community, (the gates are ALWAYS broken, ALWAYS). I am thinking about sending something to the BBB because that is false advertisement. Although I love the apartment in and of itself, the negatives outweigh the positives now. I am not one of those angry tenants that doesn't pay their rent, or only wants to down the complex, because it is bearable right now, but by the time my lease is up I am sure it will not be. It is turning into a mexican neighborhood and whereas I am not racist, nor have I ever been, I am finding that it is increasingly difficult to live with the loud music all night, the beer cans in the back and parking lot, the trash outside and in the streets, the kids that ride their bikes in front of cars, the dirty pools. The cars that don't run parked in parkin spaces that cars that DO work could use. It was not like that before. Also Terrell the acting manager or whatever he is is fake. In general, the property has too much turnover for it to be of help to anyone. Whatever you do ALWAYS get a receipt for your rent check, and you will have to call for a workorder two or three times to get it done. You'll have to go down to the actual office to speak to anyone because not only do they ignore the phones but they don't return the messages either. In general, I give it a year before the crime inside there is bad. They do not care about the residents, only about making their bonuses off of filling up these apartments. Which is such a shame because I am seeing HORDES of people who have moved in AFTER me moving out. Hmmm, wonder what that's all about. In closing, save your money, becausee you DO get what you pay for. The apts may be spacious, with washers and dryers... oh yeah, and let me put this in too.... I NEVER had a problem with roaches until the nasty new neighbor they moved in. Now I have to get sprayed all the time, and put down traps. It's disgusting there. Okay, so pay the extra money for the extra peace of mind because you will NOT get it at the Jasmines. Do yourself a favor and find a safer, cleaner, more adequate place to live.
