WELL.. where do i begin... i moved here last year... in late may 2008... they promised to do an accent wall for my apt... never heard ne thing back... the sink and tub were poorly painted/caulked so it is chipping off including the rails in da closet... u can tell there has been much patch work that is covered up... mainteance is overburdened and have no time to fix ne thing unless is effects their reputation on a immidiate basis like (you could sue for) they dont do ne thing with landscaping on the inside beside blow dirt around (including in your apt when they come do inspections when your not there randomly moving things around... lying in my bed... i found filth/dirt and body hair... and there was no forced entry so i can tell must be someone entering my apt who is contracted to do work or staff that has access to my keys and that have no business touching my things in such a manner... and nothing ever seems to be inspected and fixed... they allow to many low class people who dont take care of ne thing... one day i came out of my apt to walk my dog and a group of -------- were standing around a small hibatchi warming themselves on the steps of my apt... the heat does not work all that well in my apt... but i guess it helped me save on my electric bill and the hot water is very minimal so make sure your not into warm showers if u move here... the office staff is not professional... so i would not expect too much.. just deal with corporate... nothing in the gym words or is ever fixed... and trash is frequently overflowing in the garbage dumps onto the street... if your lookin for a bargain and quick rent excellent... but if u want large palmettos (roach hybrids) as roomates... this is the spot for you!!! my lease is up in 2mos and im leavin and the kicker is they wanted to go up on my rent!!! lol

I can second all of these points. The paint (yes, paint) they used in my bathtub is peeling all over the place and I find it sticking to my soap and body. They also painted the counters in the bathroom and that is peeling as well. They also have these "preventative maintainace" visits it seems like every 3 or 4 months which is nothing more than an excuse to come and snoop around in your apartment, very much like a "inspection" What I do in my own home is none of their freaking business. Yesterday I received a note in my door that if I place my trashbag outside my door before I go out, I will be charged $25 per violation. They are always looking for another way to take my money. Like the $25 charge for an "amenities key" just so I can use the computers and/or gym. Neither of these erronious charges were in my lease when I moved in. Lyon management are CROOKS! DO NOT LIVE HERE! I can't say that enough. I wish I could post a sign out front warning people. I cannot wait till my lease is up.

u dont have to pay for a amenities key... if it was not in your lease when u signed it... u can make them give you one... because that was part of the agreement... as for sittin my trash out... they can pick up the trash that overflows in the garbage first... id like to see them try to charge me for that... and they caulked over the mold in the bathroom... i cant wait till next month

if you have cockroaches its because you don't maintain your apt. as clean as you should and are only telling the world how disgusting you are. As for mold in bath tub you have got to be stuuupid to think it mold. It's dirty because your nasty behind does not know how to pick up a bottle of CLOROX cleaning spray once a week( idiots). I live at JWC and to receive amenity key there is a DEPOSIT( refundable super stupid). oh, and the trash letter; you have got to have screws loose to think that leaving trash out would not have a consequence. Imagine all residents leaving stinky trash out in breezeways
