I lived here in a 1 br apt from March of '08 to December of '08.

First, I would like to say that my apartment was half renovated but I paid for the full renovation!! They did not replace the cabinets in the bathroom only in the kitchen.

The biggest issue was ROACHES!! I am a very clean person. I clean with Bleach product as well as line my apt with boric acid. This did not help. I went on vacation for a week and came back to ROACH haven in my bathroom drawers as well as behind the microwave. It was disgusting!! I didn't even want visitors for fear that one of my little "friends" would come out and greet them!!

The gate never works and although maintenance is nice and friendly they did not show up until days later for an emergency maintenance issue I was having with my heat.

Overall the rent was decent even though it increased if I wanted to stay, however with all the Chicanos running around as well as the roach infestation that takes over when the sun goes down it's not worth it!!

Recommendation:

Look around and investigate before moving to such a place!!!
