My boyfriend lives in the complex, and from what I've seen of it it's a nice place! He seems to really like it there, and it seems like a nice place.

So here are a few tidbits from my own personal experience with Lake Louise:

Pros
- nice grounds; clean, not too fancy
- 5 pools; I thought he was joking when he said that, but no really - there are 5 pools! I don't know how many are actually open but they're there
- playground for the kids, and a tennis court
- basketball court (without the basketball hoops), but a nice slab of concrete anyways
- the apartment my boyfriend lives in is nice; 3 bed 2 bath, wall-to-wall carpeting with a decent sized kitchen and enough space for everyone. The bedrooms are large, and the living area is VERY big. Great little "breakfast" alcove in one corner for people who enjoy that sort of thing

Cons
- don't go in the lake. Seriously. that was like the first thing he warned me about
- the security gates at both entrances seem to be broken; not bad since it's NOT a high-crime area, but still something management should fix eventually

I read one other review that described the place as "Dracula's Castle"...Look, it's not the prettiest of places, but it's functional and affordable apartment living near a couple of good places. It's near Mercer University so would make GREAT housing for college students who want to be close to campus (roommates encouraged). From the brief experience I've had there, I'd definitely recommend looking at it if you're looking to move to the Tucker area, and I've even added it to my apartment-search list as a potential place to live.

So yeah - I recommend it to others, even from a 3rd-person's point of view.
