The dishwasher in the kitchen needed to be replaced; I was told it would be replaced within the week.
2nd bedroom door needs to be replaced.
Refrigerator switches on and off at times thus my food spoils often
There is mold.
There are roaches/waterbugs and ants. And they are persistent. I ve sprayed and prayed and they keep coming back strong and with a bigger crew! lolol
Leaks in ceiling from rain/ Stains in the ceiling. Living room ceiling plaster fell onto my dining room table. If it was anyone else it would be funny!
A drawer on the left of the kitchen in broke; I was told it would be replaced within the week.
The stove for some reason is always giving off a lot of heat. Not sure what that s all about. Lol
My front door is extremely weak. I was bringing groceries in and I did not want to leave the door open so I closed it but did not lock it. A strong wind came through and no more than 2 steps into my home my door swung open. I almost needed diapers. Lolol I thought someone was coming right behind me. It does this ALL the freaking time! lolol
Front of my hall way bathroom sink is very loose. The entire front can practically come off.
Dishwasher does not work.
All windows are severely stained. You can not see through them. I mean all of them! lol
Both lights hoods in the kitchen needed to be repainted/touched up.
The cabinets have paint on them from someone painting the stove hood.
A/C does not work
The master bedroom bathrooms tub is peeling thus I can not take baths in this one.
The second bedrooms doors need to be replaced because the top part is dented in.
I ve been living at Lake Regency for 7 months and list above needs to be done when I moved in from out of town and to date has not been completed nor do I receive word from the management team when I can expect to have these items fixed/replaced
Lake Regency Estates is not properly maintained; management cares about collecting rent and keeping persons in there lease. In the last few years they ve had much turn over in the management staff because they are inexperienced. I don t believe they understand what it takes to successfully run a complex of over 360 units.
Because the buildings are in such poor condition you can expect another $160 to your bill for gas and electric. The pool was very slow to open and the tennis courts have never had nets. The loud music and the loud conversation in the community make it very difficult to get any rest.
My neighbor is about 23 and she was literally beat to the ground by 2 young men right outside my window. No one came to help here ever though it was 12 o clock at night and she was screaming to the high heavens. Another neighbor s apartment was broke into and management stated they could do nothing even though we are supposed to have a gated community it s only been gated one times since I ve been here. Another neighbor had her apartment broke into. They kicked down the door after she stepped out. She returned to find her home vandalized. She called the police and the police stated that because the door was made of such inexpensive material they could not pull finger prints from it.
I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. There is domestic violence, wild kids, loud music and people, poor management and over all living in an apartment of this nature could be hazardous to your health. It s not worth the risk!
