I moved to lake Regency in August 06 and was pleasantly happy, however after 8 months of living there I started having problems with the maintenance people. On two occassions I allowed them to work in my apartment while I was away which is not something I do because I hate folks in my home when I am not there. Anyway, the maintenace guy drank 3 bottles of water, opened a juice container. I was upset and reported to the office and nothing was done. They said the guy was let go but I saw him in my friends apartment working in Phase 1 side. I was so angry I put a second lock on my door and they never gained access again. It was quiet until they started letting anyone in without a background check. My building was normally quiet until the guy next door beat his woman daily and nothing was done when I reported. Cops were called and I made many complaints, he started having his drug dealing out of the apartment and nothing was done. What took the cake is when all those robberies and rapes started happening in 2007. My friends apartment was near a place where a young woman and her boyfriend was hurt, then the building behind mine a young woman's apartment door was kicked in and police got there before he could do anything, finally three friends were raped in another building. Mind you this all happened in a course of one night while some fools were on a spree to hurt people. The gate did not work for the year and half i was there, but the excuse was someone keeps breaking and if we see anyone doing anything alert office. Now who will risk their lives for them. After that my son started carrying a knife and then when asked he said mom it is either them or me it is too many gangs, one week later I moved and never looked back. Of course I did notify them in writing my reasons and of course they want their money. Whoever owns the property really does not care because they would have found someone capable of running the place. Since I moved in 07' there have been 8 or more managers. I really believe they do not have to live there so they do not care. if someone who lived there ran the place it could be better because the apartment are lovely but once outside your place you better watch your back. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
