This is by far the worst apt. community I have ever lived in. I have lived in both
phase 1 and phase 2 and the only difference between them is the rent. First in Phase 1, my apartment was not ready when I was scheduled to move in. Then, 1 week later, when they finally had my apt. ready the carpet and paint was still wet. The wet carpet absorbed some of the paint and everytime I vacuumed I had white powder in my vacuum cleaner and had to clean the filters after every use. I could always hear my
neighbors beneath me and the neighbors across the hall would run in and out constantly. Even if the neighbors were monks the management staff still sucks. They told me i had 72 hours to get the heat turned on in my name. Well, the same day I moved in -Dec. 22- the heat got turned off; the dishwasher had a pile of food left from who knows where; and in between the patio glass and the screen was a humungous wasp nest.
So now I live in Phase 2 and it's been a continuous battle to get anything done, if ever. My window in my living room is broken and has been that way for a year. The part to repair it was supposedly ordered and would arrive within the week. There are majority women in my building and the courtesy lights in the breezeway were out. I called the office and the manager, yes the manager, said he had to get permission from the property owners before he could replace the bulbs. I also have something living in my ceiling. My phone calls are nerve wrecking and depending on whom I speak with I get the typical cue card response of I'll have the manager call you back. ------ is rude when I talk to her and it is hard to stay civilized when you have an issue that requires thier attention. Your bills be higher because the apartments are not insulated well. The gas company told me I have a leak at my furnace but the apartment says they don't have to fix it.
Basically, if you can avoid this place, avoid it. If you expect to live someplace where the staff is responsive and concerned about your stay being comfortable this is definitely not it.
