Ready To Move

I used to love living here, but no longer. Ever since ------- left, the management here has gone to hell in a handbasket. -------- doesn't seem to care one bit about any concern you have, so I might as well speak to the wind with my concerns. She'd be more effective leading a team of burger-flippers.

There have been several vehicle break-ins in the complex. Maybe it's due to management leaving the front gate open most of the time. Hmm'

In recent months I think management has started letting in garbage tenants. There are nights I have to call security because the noise level is too much. I can feel my body shaking from the BOOM BOOM BOOM of someone's stereo. The only saving grace has been the evening security. Whenever I have an issue he's calling me back in 10 minutes to resolve the issue.

Parking has slowly become a nightmare. If you come home after 9pm don't plan on parking in front of your building.

They're typically late opening the pool. I think they opened it in June last year and closed it in early August.

When our washer/dryer went out we had to argue with -------- to get it fixed and that took over a week. It was great not being able to do laundry at home! /sarcasm

They continue to raise the rent, but not the quality of living. As you can tell, I have very few good things to say about this complex. I used to love it here, but this last year to 14 months the place has steadily gone downhill.

I think these are mostly minor things. The gate is mostly open because people/tenants/guests keep breaking the gate by carelessly driving into it or not being patient enough to let the gate go up before driving through it. There's not much -------- or management can do about that. I have never had a problem parking no matter what time I get back. You might have to park a bit further away but you get some exercise. So what? The rent raises are very reasonable. There's some minor stuff. I wish they'd replace the clock in the gym. I'm ready to go out and get one at Target. Compared to other places in the area, rent is reasonable and it's relatively safe.

This is an extremely unfair rating. I've been at Lakeshore Crossing for almost two years, and the management team is awesome! -------- is always available to talk to me about whatever concerns I have, and she always follows up with me if there's something left outstanding. The gate situation is unfortunate, because there seem to be some real idiots that keep breaking the gate arm, and that's why the gate is open as much as it is. Not to mention, the gate isn't going to stop anyone from coming in if they wanted to. If you believe that, then I have a piece of underwater property I can also sell you. LOL! Parking has always been the same since I've lived here. Yeah, it's hard to find a space if you come home at 3am on a Friday night, but that's to be expected anywhere. When my washer started to leak, it was no problem to replace it. And my microwave too. The maintenance staff is always eager to help out, and if they have time to take care of something minor on the same day, they'll just come over and do it for you. Yes, there have been break-ins, but that's what ou get when you live in the city. You have to deal with occasional crime. The chances of getting your car broken into at Lakeshore are probably less than they would be if you left it overnight in an abandoned parking lot. Seriously, this is a great place to live for the location, price, and amenities.

Totally agree about management not caring. Something breaks and causes damage to your property - screw you, not their fault. Break-in on the property when the gate was open - screw you, not their fault. -------- is a terrible, unresponsive manager. Most of the positive things on here have been written by her or her assocites. Avoid this place.
