I have recently moved from Lincoln parc (2005-2006) after a painful and seemingly endless lease of 1 year, and the only words I can offer is "free at last, free at last!!...."

Let me begin with the atrocious house keeping and maintenance. Not once but twice I experienced electrical failure of a whole section of my unit. It took 6 letters (over a three month period) and finally a threat of external action before any repairs were made. The second round of repairs only took five letters (and one threat to report them to ProMove) to receive the half-baked repairs they finally made.

The trash bin always overflowed and at night teemed with rats. There was graffiti on the mailboxes (some of the more offensive I took the liberty of removing). One residence had at least 4 guys living in a two bedroom apt. These men all shared the common past time of drinking and smoking on their 1st floor balcony will bar-b-queuing and blasting music (not once or twice, but ever day!!). Residence were not required to keep their units in any type of acceptable shape and the constant stream of taxi's and trucks with ladders spilling off of their roofs made me feel like I was living in a labor camp.

The staff was friendly enough but obviously had their priorities elsewhere when it came to resident concerns. One good thing is that there are many families there and the riff-raff element is not present. I never felt unsafe there.

I would not recommend anyone to the live reside at Lincoln Parc unless you yourself drive a taxi or ladder truck and have an affinity for poor property management.

Excuse my rantings but when I just discovered this site and am glad I can lend someone a heads up before they make a horrible mistake. Word to the wise when shopping for an apartment...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!

its under new mangement, its better than little mexico winterscreek...the staff is nice...I think its clean
