RETHINK IT!

I lived in this apartment community from 1996-1999, first in a 1 bedroom and then in a two bedroom. I loved it. It was peaceful, quiet and the staff was wonderful. If something needed to be fixed they fixed it. No the case anymore.
I moved back over 2 years ago because I had such a good experience. It was the worse decision I could have ever made. The maintenance staff is absolutely useless. You tell them something is wrong, they never call you back and you have to call repeatedly to get things fixed. I have had numerous problems because the place is old, which wouldn't be a big deal if they fixed things in a timely matter. I should not have to contantly call when I'm paying hefty rent.
Unlike the first time I lived there, my neighbors are extremely noisy. One couple has a child they never take out and his outdoor time is in the house. The constant banging is unbelievable. The leasing office is aware but does nothing to alleviate the problem. People don't control they howling pets. They fix their cars in the parking lots like it's a trailer park or something. You complain and the leasing office acts like it just another day. I guess they are used to all the complaining so it's not important.
Certain neighbors will also start rumors about you if you don't want to associate with them.
We recently had a tenant attacked in the laundry facility of his home. We were basically told that AIMCO cannot do much to protect us. We have to depend on eachother. It sounds like we should be paid to live in this dump! Once the lease it up, we're out of there!
