This is a horrible place to live. I have only been here for six months and the problems seem to get worse and worse! First of all, the renovations are great! Minus some of the cheap things they have done to fix some problems. In my apartment I have windows but cant even open them because they have sealed them shut. I had some people from the complex come and try to unseal them, but two things happened. One they told me that they might not be able to fix them and that they tried to do this on a womans apartment on the third floor and when they opened the window it popped out and fell down three stories almost hitting someone outside on their porch so it is a large liability. Secondly, I NEVER SAW THEM AGAIN WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD COME BACK!!!
The next part is the scariest part....I heard from a lady who lives next to me that there have been several units who pipes have broken!!!! WHen the complext sent people out to fix it all they did was replace the carpet and the wall! In EVERY CASE THERE WAS MOLD INFESTATION FOUND IN EACH APARTMENT A FEW MONTHS LATER BEACAUSE THEY DIDN'T CLEAN IT UP CORRECTLY. I just had someone come out and do a Mold inspection on my apartment. They found it under my sink and in the kitchen...they fixed the problem, but said it was due to old pipes and lack of proper maintenance!
Stay away from this place! All the apartment complex does is hassle you to get into a unit because there are so many vacant ones right now. (according to that same lady who lives next to me who has lived here for almost ten years, but is leaving at the end of the year because things have gotten so bad!)
