I think it's great here

Being a relatively poor college student, I have lived in some awful places. However, I grew up in a very nice area. M-Street for me is a happy medium. Most of the people who live here are very friendly. The staff is nice. The maintenance crew have always come by the same day I call. I have not had any problems with crime. I'm sure there is crime, being that we are in downtown Atlanta, and we are just barely on the "right" side of the tracks. My balcony actually has a view of the Fulton County Jail, but it doesn't bother me. The trains I think are kind of cool to watch. Once you live here, you get used to them and tune them out. They aren't very loud inside the apartments. The noise mostly comes from people in the hall. These are spacious and affordable apartments for the price. Yes, Marietta Street is loud, and the trains can be loud, but you make up for that in the price you pay. The pool is great and so is the gym. Also, the insulation is great. I hardly pay anything in utilities a month. I've only used the heat twice in the winter, and hardly use the air conditioning in the summer. Just make sure to bring ceiling fans to install. There is construction going on just north of the apartments. There is alot planned for the development of the area, and the value will soon go up. Overall, I love the place and I would recommend this to any respectful college student, or anyone for that matter.
