M Street Apartments
< | >
Ive been at M Street since they opened. They had a bunch of empty promises of the amenties that they were going to have: Spirit Room (where there were going to be flat screen TVs and this and that, Computer Lounge, and a meeting room. Well...theres a clubhouse with no flat screens, and dingy couches! Theres the Meeting Room that they dont want you to use, and that computer lounge...it never happend- its a "study room" that pretty much goes unused.
THATS NOT ALL...
We do have a work out facility. When I first moved in it was great, there were TVs that had sound hook up to the individual machines so you could plug your earphones into them and watch the TV of your choice. ONE DAY they took the TVs out...6 months later they put 2 back in without the feature. ON MANY OCCASIONS, I have went into the facility and there are teenagers and younger youth were just hanging out and playing on the equiptment!! Their clothes all over the place running all around, more recently you will go into the facility and half of the equiptment is broken!
IT DOESNT STOP THERE! Like the others said about the trash, crap, and break-in's are all confirmed, but it seems like no one has mentioned the fact that there are 5 Train tracks behind the Apts. My Apartment faces the tracks, the trains actually have a stop light that makes them actually on occasion stop right behind our building, have you ever heard a train break'' ITS TERRIBLE. Not only do they stop there but they also switch tracks, which sounds like a large crash which after being here almost 2 years... you NEVER get use to it.
Security is non exsistant, someone is getting paid to be here, yet you never see them. The front doors of the apts are easy to break into, the phone service to the office is disconnected often, and if come home a little late you cant find parking because visitors park wherever they want. AND IF YOU LIVE ON THE TOP FLOOR, THERE IS NO ELEVATOR AND YOU NEVER GET USED TO CLIMBING ASK ANYONE!!
MOVING HERE ISNT SMART. IM SURE BY NOW YOU SHOULD KNOW.

I'm interested in living there and that's why I'm looking at these reviews. I'm not trying to sound rude, but unless there are 2-year leases, why have you been living there 2 years if you're so unpleased? It must be something worth sticking around for.

I could have sworn that train yard was there before M St. was before, so they had to be there when you moved in. But, I could be wrong...And, was there an elevator there 2 years ago, that they then ripped out?
