Living there was pretty much the single worst experience of my life. You might as well rent a cage at the zoo.

Cars were constantly broken into. Nearly every day someone tried the handle of my door to see if it was unlocked. Roughly twice a week I found my door mat overturned. Aggressive pets were not abnormal. Our dog was attacked by the neighbors dog several times. The fitness center had weight racks, but apparently all the free weights had long been stolen. It was not uncommon for the pool to be littered with empty beer boxes.

You sound like you didn't get your way with something while you were here and now need to vent. Only complainers have time to come on here, like you.

Do you work for M Street? I'm not sure what the correlation between having time on my hands and writing an accurate review of M Street is, but the accusation does seem to be at the intelligence level of the average M Street resident. I've been gone for over a year. I paid to break my contract. I found this site and was curious what other people had to say. But if you want, I could also mention that the AC in the exercise room was often off/broken. There are giant rats living under the dumpster. People park wherever they want, including fire lanes. The guy who was working at the coffee shop was mugged as he left work one night. The street level shops were victimized by smash and grab robberies. There was a broken pickle jar in the stairwell for several weeks, glass and pickles everywhere....which might give you an idea of how much the people here care about cleaning up after themselves. I have to imagine that anyone who defends this place is either (a) an employee or (b) part of the problem.

In response to the anonymous poster above - apparently you are a complainer with time on your hands. You don't even have a point or opinion to post - just antagonizing those who do. Pretty stupid. I, too, lived at M Street, and completely agree with the review here. The place is a dump. Looks beautiful until you move in. Then you see the trash under the shine.
