OK, so it is a little sketchy... there have been some robberies, but overall it is an ideal place for a GT student to live. If you aren't a GT student though, you should look elsewhere. It is cheap and I feel like I have gotten what I paid for. I have never been robbed or approached, BUT I hate that I don't feel safe walking to or being in the fitness center after dark. It is slightly less safe than GT.
We had serious problems upon move-in -- the apartment wasn't ready or clean, one room has always smelled like cigarette smoke, and they never installed the light fixtures in our main room. However, the rooms are nice, high ceilings if you live on the first floor, washer/dryer hook-up etc.
I could walk to class, Westside Market, and coffee shops. It was LOUD here, but if you are a student, you are used to it.
Overall, live here if you are an upperclassman or GT graduate student. It is an upgrade from the dorms, but not as nice as when you are a Young Professional.
