We have been tenants at this complex going into our third year and enjoy the community very much. It's a quiet, well landscaped, well kept property. The location couldn't be any more convenient. Even though the property is more that 30 years old and the rent is more than one would expect for a community this old - it is worth it.
If only the rent would not increase so much with each renewal. Tenants who pay on time each month and keep their apartments well maintained should be given an incentive. Even though tenants over the last 3 years have changed to people who are ill-mannered, and non-friendly, its still a nice place to live.
One negative aspect that bothers us, are the tailgaters who follow us in at the gate. I moved here because of the security gate. But some (I hope) residents want to tailgate you through the gate. Everyone is suppose to have a card - everyone should use theirs!! Or visitor should be told of how to enter the complex. Another negative aspect are the changes in the office. When we moved in, everyone in the office seemed to care about the residents - most of those people are gone. The only one who remains is Linda Williams. Of all of the people who work in the office, she is the most courteous, pleasant and friendliest staff member. She is always helpful, follows through on request for repairs, and offers any assistance necessary. We've placed a couple of repair calls which have not been answered yet. If you want service or need assistance, ask for Linda Williams. The other office staff members seem to be just working for a salary and not caring about the property or the
residents. We have met many residents who have lived on the property for 10 - 20 years. That in itself speaks highly of the community. But should the staff that is there now remain, (except Ms. Williams) we suspect many longtime residents, including us will move. We have been told this is one of the best Post properties!! - from other Post properties staff members. It won't be for long if the staff doesn't wake up and treat people like they want to be treated!

I agree on the tailgater issue completely, but now I regularly stop just inside side of the gate until I see the gate come down thus forcing the car behind me to either use their card / remote or to back up and try to enter "lawfully" another way. You can occasionally see the tailgaters perched outside...waiting. If all tenants do what I (And many other tenants) do, then the tailgaters would be discouraged by having dents, dings and damage on their car when they try to get through.
