Terrible place to live

I have only had problems since I moved into Post Woods/Madison Vinings Ridge. My apartment flooded and they did not replace the carpet. The water heater was not installed to code and the gas company came by one day and shut off the hot water. I didn't have hot water for 5 days while I tried to get the apartment and Atlanta Gas Light out there to fix the problem. They did this to most of the residents and they never brought the water heater up to code. The management staff is not helpful and cannot keep up with paper work. Overall, it was a terrible experience and a complete rip off. Please do not waste your time here!

I take personal offense to the remark about Atlanta Gas Light. I have worked for that company AND lived at Post Woods- Madison Vinings for a few years and this statement is ridiculus. It doesn't take 5 days for us to come out if you call when you have a problem, especially if it is an emergency. We have standards. And insulting the place I live is dumb too. This place is really, really nice and ther water heaters are up to the curent codes when they are installed. If you have an old one it needs to be brought to code but no one knows this unless Atlanta Gas comes out and tells you. You should read these things before you go bad mouthing my company.

Acutally it's not ridiculus and it's true. The water was turned off and I called the apartment complex. They came the next day and informed me that Atlanta Gas Light had to come out and unlock something on the water heater so that they could turn it on. Atlanta Gas Light came out and unlocked the device and then informed me that since the water heater is not up to code, which they said the apartment complex knew about since this was happening to many residents, they would not turn the water heater on and they would only unlock it. I then had to call the apartment company back and get someone to come out and turn the water heater back on. If you read carefully, you will see that this site is to rate apartment complexes and not gas companies. This is a terrible place to live and many of the other comments confirm this statement.
