I totally agree. I am breaking my lease and I don't give a crap about them as they don't care about there tenants. TOO MUCH CRIME!!!! We pay extremely HIGH rent and cannot even get security on foot. I'm sick of the letters on the door every month that states: GET TO KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS, WHEN WALKING THROUGH THE COMMUNITY MAKE SURE YOU ARE ACCOMPANIED BY AT LEAST 1 OTHER PERSON WITH WHOM YOU ARE FAMILIAR. What the heck is this, you mean I pay this HIGH rent and I cannot walk down the halls by myself' This is OUTRAGEOUS! I have never seen anything like this. The Mariposa does not care about the safety of their residents. The management here looks at you like you are crazy and will tell you to call the police. The apartments are the best looking apartments in Inman Park, but I cannot continue to risk my safety! Someone just broke in an apartment on the first floor on 3/10/2008. I understand that we live in Midtown, but can we at least get some security besides the cameras they just installed that most likely don't work & the on call security person that lives for free on the premises. I'M OUTTA HERE! DO NOT RENT FROM THE MARIPOSA LOFT APARTMENTS!
