AFFORDABLE, INTOWN, come on, don't expect a plush buckhead condo

I am renewing my lease at the Mattress factory, despite the few maintenence issues we have had, and out neighbor who plays his electronica way too loud. For once, I am in a place where I 1)like my landlord, 2) can walk to work and school, 3)like the layoput and design of my space. I live in a small studio loft with huge windows, but they face a wall-i.e I get all the light I need but retain privacy.
There are a lot of students, artists, and young professionals, but there are all sorts of people. Living in the city means that you have to be openminded and tolerant, I saw someone on here complaining of "rappers/fake thugs", but I havent ever felt unsafe and I am a young female.
This is not the place to live if you are used to conventional accomadations. But if you find exposed ductwork, concrete floors, a diverse community, and an interesting place to live, this might be a place for you. Additionally, there is a roof-top deck with a great view. We are next to Lenny's and Eyedrum and walking distance to Georgia State. Michael the landlord is extremely pleasent.
If you want a downtown loft that is like a suburban home, you will be paying a whole lot more.
