This is Atlanta. Atlanta is a large city, and with that come problems.
I have been living in this complex for around one year, and find it comfortable. All units have large windows, and my eastern view affords a beautiful sunrise each day. It is a loft, and most units have original glass, so temperature control is affected by the weather. VERY close walking distance to the MARTA train station, and about half of the walk is covered by bridges, to make rainy day commuting that much brighter.
Overall, it has been miles above any cookie cutter big-chain complex, in my book.
What has inspired me to write a review: Over the past week of really cold nights, there has been a fresh blanket laying by our back gate. Someone, or a group of someones, have been leaving blankets outside for the wandering homeless...
This is a community of artists, and there is a place in the stairwell that extra furniture, books, clothing and even groceries sometimes are left. There are extra materials and old art pieces left by the dumpsters regularly. The management sometimes tries to frown on the stairwell thing, but it is a really awesome community to live in as proven by such commitment to recycling and giving.
There are many other choices throughout the downtown area with traditional apartment fashion, and many homes available for rent at the same price.
Consider what you are looking for in an apartment and in your community before choosing your home for the next year, but I will always be happy I spent my time here.
