I have been living here at the Mattress Factory Lofts for about 10 months. I will get right to the point and give my Pros/Cons.
Pros
-Nice lofts- very spacious, great layout, quality fixtures.
-Affordable utilities- I never had a high utility bill...mine were a lot lower here than at my old place in midtown which was half the size.
-Nice staff- responsive, friendly and professional.
-Nice residents.
-Well designed building.
Cons
-Paper thin walls- Often times I could hear my neighbors and doors slamming outside. Everything echos. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody heard me typing this review!
-Several maintenance requests. My A/C unit went out a few times, after the 3rd time, they finally fixed it.
-Location- my friends did not feel safe coming to the Mattress Factory Lofts to visit. The area surrounding the Mattress Factory Lofts "takes some getting used to". Got a gas station in walking distance, GSU is about a 15 min. walk, but other than that expect to drive.
-Amenities: I was not impressed with the washer/dryer system. They do not seem to be very regularly cleaned. I do my laundry at my friend's house. The gym is subpar but they are slowly upgrading it.
Overall: I am deciding against re-newing my lease here. For the location, the price isn't prime.
