Not worth the sleepless nights

I have lived in the Mattress factory for 2 years now. To make it easy I have listed the major pros and cons of my experience. Overall I am not pleased and will not be renewing my lease.
Pros:
clean building and grounds (except for the overflowing trash compactor located next to the pool)
Cool urban area
Lots of natural light.
Cons:
Noise, Noise, Noise!
The walls, ceiling and windows are paper thin.
I can every step and every word from my upstairs neighbor.
Yes, I even hear the gross details of all my neighbors lifes.
I know when they have upset stomachs (I can hear when my neighbor pukes), arguments with loved ones and family, lewd sex acts from the --- men next door. This is no lie or exageration. I can hear everything and I am sure that they can hear me too.
Mike the manager is a compulsive lier and cheat he will steal from you everytime he gets a chance. Although I think he means well at first, His attitude is that of a vindictive woman. If you are not who he thinks you are or are not in his buddy circle he will try and steal from you every month. (Lost rent checks, Extra maint. fees, Car towed without notice.)
In the past two years my car has been towed twice(both times my parking sticker was visble) My rent was lost three times (It was his admitted fault but I was still charged late fees) My hot water heater busted but somehow I was charged for the damage.
This little guy will smile in your face and try and stick you in the back if he has the chance.
And don't dare complain about the noise. You will hear these words "characteristics of the unit". (another way of saying tuff luck)
The HVAC units are so noisy that you cant even watch television at a normal volume.
(and they still dont regulate the temperature)
Neighbors are rude and unfriendly.
The first year was cool but now it seems like they are letting anybody in. the place has become haven for H---sexuals and drug addicts. I dont feel safe. since the cotton mill has closed, all of the drug activity has moved here. I'm not talking about a little grass, I mean the hard rock stuff and all the shady chracters that come with it.
Bottom line, There are much nicer and quieter places in the same area for the same price or less. The crooked management of braden fellman and the lack of peace and quiet is not woth it. I would use this place only as a daytime office. Because you will not get any sleep at night.

I am straight and I must agree with the poster. To hear anybody having sex is gross but to hear two men having sex is just plain disturbing.(as I have often heard just walking down the hall to my unit)
Try having to explain to your 10 year old son what in the heck he just heard.
