Moving out review

Overall I've enjoyed living here. From what I gather, the experience can range widely based on your particular apartment. If you prefer a more quiet experience, I would recommend phase II or III (make sure you get an apt with windows that actually open!). I'm in a smaller building where I have fewer neighbors in the hall. They have all been exceptionally kind and considerate (even when I asked someone to turn down their music on a Friday night- he obliged and left an apology note on my door). I do have a noise reducing fan for use at night; it does the trick.
I really like the bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. I love jogging into Grant Park and the accessibility to MARTA is awesome if you use it.
I've only had one maintenance problem which was handled immediately. The staff are fine- I'm the type of tenant who is responsible so I don't need to deal with them. But they do represent a property management company, so expect big fees if your rent is late!
I'm female and I haven't felt concerned for my safety. There are the usual neighborhood characters and drunks, but most are harmless. That said, I've never walked around by myself at night.
Overall, I'm glad I lived here for the experience. Someone once told me that I would like it if I "was a loft person." Guess everyone needs to figure that out for themselves.
