I have read reviews for these and other lofts, and I have visited ALL the lofts in downtown Atlanta (at least it feels like it). I see a lot of people complaining about noise.......Huh'!'! I'm not sure if anyone is aware but when you move into a bulding that was constructed in 1864 and has historical value there are rules as to what you can change and what you can't. Part of being able to see that it used to be a Mattress Factory is also what makes the noise travel and leaks possible. When I came to look at the Lofts, I was not misguided in any way.....they flat out told me that I could have water leak in through my windows during heavy rains and that noise travels easily as there are 24 foot ceilings in my loft and concrete floors.....what would insulate the noise from traveling''' I'm not saying some people that live here aren't too noisy for the conditions, those are probably the same people complaining about their neighbors being noisy.
I pay the same price for my 1 bedroom (2 story) loft as I paid for an apartment in Kennesaw where I had leaks, and noisy neighbors, only now I feel like my home is a reflection of me and when I go to visit neighbors I don't feel like I'm in the twilight zone because our apartments are IDENTICAL!! lol
If you are considering living in a loft, especially a historical loft, PLEASE do your research, if you don't you may be expecting something different than what you get. If you are a free spirited, artistic, individual you will ENJOY every moment of your one of a kind home. I know I sure do, I LOVE having people over to entertain, and they love coming. And having a glass of wine on the roof with that view of the city.....well, come and see for yourself!! x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Don't assume that I am young and a partier just because I like my loft. I am 31 and pregnant so can't drink even if I wanted to and I even go to bed early (9:30). And guess what??? I still LOVE living here!!! I think you are just making things up, what Marta building are you talking about that blocks the view fromt the roof?? I was just there and the view of the skyline was just as amazing as the day I moved in. Did you get evicted because you lost your job and now you have all the free time in the world to go online and refute everyone's opinion on here? You already posted your opinion, so let the rest of us post ours!! And by the way.....call the cops when your neighbors are having a party!! What is the office supposed to do about it? I know they evicted some of the kids who had a party on the roof, you can't expect them to evict everyone but you though!! Get over yourself and get on with your life. And regarding the armed robberies, my friend lives in a nice community in Kennesaw and her apartments have had a ton of crime lately, it is the week before Christmas and we are in a recession....people are desperate!! Be careful, no matter where you live/work. Crime can and will happen ANYWHERE!!
