I've been here at the Mattress Factory for almost a year, and have definitely enjoyed my time so far! The management is very pleasant, the rooftop view is beautiful, it's right on MARTA if you need it or need back-up transportation. If you don't have a washer/dryer, there's a laundry room on every level. Great kitchens, walk in closets, nicely sized bathrooms. Haven't had to call maintenance once. Gated parking.
I remember reading many reviews before moving in and one thing I would like to say in regards to the noise complaints is this: YOU'RE GOING TO BE LIVING IN A LOFT WITH VERY HIGH CEILINGS AND EITHER WOOD OR CEMENT FLOORS. NOISE IS GOING TO HAPPEN. I personally, haven't had a problem with it; but I'm also used to living with a community of people. If you want a completely quiet living experience, you're going to have to go somewhere with lots of carpet, soundproofing, or get a house and think about not living in an apartment complex. You're literally going to be living in an acoustically echo-y space. That's part of it, though. You have to be willing to make some sacrifices to live in a really cool space that's more than 100 years old.
Overall, love the space. If you're looking for something other than those cookie-cutter condos that are popping up everywhere, than Mattress Factory is for you.
