No community is 100% perfect, however the staff at Metro on 16th strives on a daily basis to make our community the best it can be. As managment of any community the hardest part is dealing with people. I am sure anyone in the customer service business can relate. There is no credit report, rental history or criminal report (we do all 3) that can tell if someone is going to be a great resident. I do believe the test has to be does the managment staff react. I can tell you that tell you that my staff at Metro on 16th is dedicated to the community and making it a great place for anyone to call home.
I am sure that the most disturbing factor for those of you reading these reviews is the comments regarding crime. The facts are that we have had break-ins on our community. The fact is that the numbers quoted in the previous reviews are not correct. Having been in property managment from over 12 years, what I can tell you is that no community is free or immune from crime. What sets are community apart from many other communites is our policy to notify residents when an incident occurs on the community. Many communites do not notify residents of criminal acts happen on their community. As a prospective resident the only way to know for sure is to do your homework, go to the local police precent and request the crime stats.
I strongly urge you to visit or communty and decide for your self. As an employee and a neighbor I truely belive that this is a wonderful place to call home. Enjoy living in the center of it all... walking in the park, to the movies, restaurants and more. Take your laptop to the pool or the cyber cafe and use the wi-fi. Meet your neighbors at our residents functions, at the bark park or in the gym. There is no place in the city that has as much to offer as Atlantic Station. This is more then just an apartment home; this is life in the center of it all!

This is only one among MANY favorable reviews about this community planted by the management. Yes, there are some issues beyond management's control, such as crime, but there are many other issues at this community, such a trash removal and dirty hallways, that are completely in the management's control, yet they chose to do nothing about. I would advise anyone to think carefully about moving into a community where management thinks adequate trash removal is optional. This is the same problem experienced by residents at ICON, managed by the same company and same manager, so apparently it is a habit.

I agree. It is not the most cleanest of all. To me the biggest problem is the type of residents that live here. It's more of a college type setting, so that brings the quality of life here a little down (because of the noise in the pool area and at whatever time of the night!)...Please consider paying a couple of extra bucks for security and peace of mind (noise!) than to pay "cheaper" rent in this complex.
