First off... this is not the first shooting at Metropointe however this is the first one that I've seen on the news:

Students Jump To Escape Robbery At Off Campus Student Living
Issue date: 2/14/08 Section: News
According to WSB-TV,a home invasion at a northwest Atlanta off-campus student living Metropointe Lofts, lead to some desperate measures.

The suspects reportedly fired at least one bullet which lead three students to jump from a fourth floor window to saftey. The students were sent to Grady Hospital where currently two students remain in critical condition.

Metropointe Lofts houses students from The Art Institute of Atlanta, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, and Clark Altanta University.
