I am a student at Georgia State University and am a resident at Metropointe. This evening was quite eventful and SCARY!!! The past few weeks there have been a few incidents involving robbery, and gunshots, but tonight was worse. At about 8:00 pm the entire complex blacked out...it stayed like that until about 11:20, but thats when I finally ESCAPED and the place was still pitch black!! During the time of the blackout I was stranded in my 9th floor apartment with my roommate and our boyfriends. There were panic and fire alarms going off, people screaming, and oh yea GUNSHOTS right outside my door!!!! I was scared for my life tonight, as I am everyday in this place, so please if you are looking into this apartment complex, turn away and find a place where you are safe and cared about!! I still live there and after tonight I am getting the hell out of there, before I get hurt...or worse!
