I've been living at Metropinte for 8 months (8 months of hell) and they've already been under 3 different management groups. The place just can not be saved, its trashy, ghetto, and the staff is just useless.I could give you countless reasons wh no one should ever live here and it should be shut down:
1.) The complimentary bus system is horrible the buses run once an hour and i spend at LEAST 2 hours everyday waiting for the bus and each bus ride takes at least 45 mins so i spend almost 13 hours a week dealing with that bus. NOT TO MENTION the buses are completely falling apart. The bumpers in the front and back are falling off, the a.c and heat is usually broken, the doors never open and they break down ALL the time. It is definitely more of an inconvenience than a service.
2.) THE HORRIBLE OFFICE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!! I think the Metropointe office is one of the most unprofessional business settings I've ever experienced and that's all I'll say to avoid ranting.
3.) THE UTILITY SCANDAL!
They say that each room has a meter and the utility is split between all the residents of that room but I know that is a lie. I'm pretty sure they have one meter per floor and split is among all the residents of that floor to avoid paying a light bill for the hundreds of lights they keep on all day (yes even during earth hour). Me and my roommates were out of town most of december and came back to a $156 utility bill EACH. I think this is one of the worst things about living here because if this is true I spend all my time freezing at night and conserving power only to pay other peoples bills. Its hard enough paying almost a $1000 per month for rent for a crappy place but Metropointe feels the need to make me pay for others irresponsible energy habits. This isn't proven but I wouldn't put it past Metropointe.
I really could go on all day about why NO ONE SHOULD EVER MOVE INTO METROPOINTE but it would be a never ending list and I'm a college student with enough papers to write already.
P.S
I'm sure the staff reads these review so tell you're manager that if she wants to run a student living establishment well maybe she should put the students first. Metropointe never holds up their end of the bargin but yet they insist on the residents giving up every last penny to live in their 3rd world establishment.
Most of the residents and their parents take out loans, some even sell their possessions and refinance their homes in order to pay the ridiculous rent at Metro. That means this is a mistake that myself and most of your residents will be paying for years to come. The least you can do is offer the level of service that you advertise on your website and on your "tours". Business will be a lot better for you if you make your current residents happy. As far as I'm concerned Metro is suffering because word of mouth is the best marketing and word on campuses is that Metropointe is the biggest mistake anyone can make.I personally know 5 friends who wanted me to refer them and I refused to because I know what its really like to live here.

Some things never change. Sorry your dealing with that crap, as did I. Word-for-word EVERYTHING you said is exactly how I felt and everything that I am dealing with. So who is the property manager and assistant property manager now? They weren't worth s*** when I was there!
