I've been living here for almost a year and I'm completely ready to break my lease. Yes there are tons of bugs but that's because the area is so wooded. It was fine at first but now that the management has changed no one has sprayed since the fall. Now the bugs are getting outrageous. I only went to the laundry room one time and that was because when I was there they were "trying" to fix a gas leak. A gas leak!!! I was only able to wash my clothes. I had to go elsewhere to dry them. Everything around here keeps breaking and the maintenance staff has completely disappeared. A lot of people keep talking about the residents but I think that's because they're just ignorant. The people are very nice and family oriented. If you're not racist and don't mind living around Hispanic and Black people then you will be fine. It's the management that is despicable. We paid our rent for 6 months in advance and the management changed at the end of the 6 months. We were almost evicted because one of the ladies in the office told us we were ok and the manager did not tell her that we owed rent. My roommate and I went up to the office 3 separate times to ask if our wrent was due and each time we were told no. And then they increased the rent without notifying anyone!!! She said she was being nice by waiving the late fee, but it was her fault that our rent was late to begin with! It's just a mess and I'm ready to leave.
