Roach infested apartment From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/1/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007 1 response   I signed my least on the on 9/25/07. I thought I had go get deal 100.00 dep., five days free and on October 1st rent is 199.00. I went by the apartment one night at 10pm. To my horror the apartment I just rented was infested with roaches and not bent cleaned. The were dead roaches stuck to the cabinet in the kitchen. There were dead roaches in the frigerator. I went in the next day told the manager/Mrs. Rosser what I'd found. How I felt like I needed a hot hot shower with lots of soap after being in that apartment. She asured me she would corrected the on Friday with the extermenator and get the cleaning people back out to clean the apartment properly. She would have him bomb the apartment before I moved in. Keep in mind this delayed my move in. Well Friday(9/27/07 )came Mrs. Rosser informed me that the exermenator had completed the bombing and the new cleaning people had cleaned the apartment. Well I moved finally on Sunday 9/30/07. I moved my things in and left about two hours to return the truck. When my daughter and I returned we entered through the kitchen and there were five baby roaches on the floor. I opened my box to get a dish and there was a roach crawling between the news paper. Keep in mine tha apartment I just left was roach free. We further saw roaches crawling on our clothes/boxes and the livingroom floor. We were horrified! The cleaning of the apartment was horrible. I went back to Mrs Rosser on 10/1/07 she said the reason the roaches were out was because the of the extermenator. I dont know how she said the with a stright face. Mrs Rosser said I will have clean dead roaches off the shelves in the kitchen and floor myself as if this was a normal. I showed her photoes of the roaches the were in my tub. She really had no anwers for me. she was very unconcerned aobut the situation. I sign the lease and now I'm stuck. Kila just stared at me as if to say shut up and go away.
