I lived here for over 2yrs and when I first moved into these apartments I couldn't say enough great things about them. But over the course of a year these apartments have went from great to worse.
The new management that took over is absouletly horrible and really not friendly(very fake if you ask me) They are nice when they want your money but after that not so much. The apartments themselves are old and not really nice. The size of the apartments are nice but nothing else. My utilites bill are through the roof. During the winter my gas bill is extremelly high and in the summer my electric bill is crazy. I thought it was like that everywhere but all my friends don't pay nearly the amount that I pay. There is just no insulation at all and the windows and doors have cracks where air escapes. I have water damage all over my apartment and they haven't even done anything about at all(this is after I put in numerous maintenance request) Don't get me started on the lovely pile of trash that accumulates in the trash dumpster. It is probably one the most disqustings things to see(rats love it at night) This really isn't a secure place b/c the gate is broken probably 70% of the time.
I know there are a ton of people moving including me. The apartment complex I am moving into said that they had 3 residents move into their apartments from Morningside Courts in one week. They are trying to put "million" dollar renovations into the apartments but you can make something look pretty on the outside but the inside still sucks.
I can't wait to move out of here and I would advise you not to move in. They are definetly not "luxury" like they say.
